Part II (63-115) is on Utopias and Dystopias and discusses More, Bacon, Neville, Swift, Barrie’s Neverland, Sylvia Townsend Warner’s Fanua in her Mr. Fortune’s Maggot (1927), and Huxley’s Pala. Elsewhere, the author discusses Robinson Crusoe (178-195) and Robinsonades (Golding’s Pincher Martin, Muriel Spark’s Robinson, and, briefly, Coetzee’s Foe) (197-217).
