Abstract

The novel follows the unnamed narrator and his friend, a mining engineer, as they go to the underground planet Vril-ya. Vril-ya is populated by humanoids who manage to obtain a force called “Vril” that gives them psychic powers. The unnamed protagonist is impressed by Vril-ya's way of Life and adopts traditions and living.
