Lisbon fishwives

Abstract

This photograph shows several Lisbon fishwives. Six of them are visible on the foreground, standing and walking next to two parasols who seem to be protecting the market products from the sun. All of them are dressed in traditional clothes, with long skirts, aprons and hats, and two of them are carrying baskets on their heads. On the background it is possible to see what appears to be a market, with several other people and products visible.
