dc.description.abstractIn the second book of Burton & Swinburne series, Sir Richard Francis Burton (the British explorer) and Algernon Charles Swinburne (the British poet) are in an alternate 1862. At Trafalgar Square, a Clock Workman is found, but this mechanical device is merely a decoy to a diamond robbery.
dc.description.authorMark Hodder (1962-) is a British writer, living in Valencia, Spain. He wrote the Burton & Swinburne novels and created the Blakiana website, about Sexton Blake, a fictional British detective. The first novel of the Burton & Swinburne series, The Strange Affair of Spring-Heeled Jack, won its author the 2010 Philip K. Dick Award.
