The Casa dos Bicos is the main subject of this photograph, whose name originated from its curious façade of spikes. This historic building had six doors and five windows. It is possible to see a man standing next to one of the doors and looking at the camera, as well as some people walking on the street, on the left side of the photograph, and a man riding a donkey.
