Burton and Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837-1909), however, watch as the Empire’s elite adopts a despotic attitude, using these technologies to remain eternally in power.
dc.description.authorMark Hodder (1962-) is a British writer, living in Valencia, Spain. He wrote the Burton & Swinburne novels and created the Blakiana website, about Sexton Blake, a fictional British detective. The first novel of the Burton & Swinburne series, The Strange Affair of Spring-Heeled Jack, won its author the 2010 Philip K. Dick Award.
