He is the author of various science fiction novels for which he has won multiple awards. His debut novel, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, was published in 2003. Aside from his writing career, Doctorow has worked for the Electronic Frontier Foundation where he helped create the Open Rights Group, which is dedicated to the preservation of digital rights. |
