thing.descriptionDave Eggers (1970-) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America, being not only a writer but also an editor and publisher. He has published extensively, from novels to short stories, children’s literature and non-fiction, and among his best-known books are the memoir A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius (2000), The Wild Things (2009), The Circle (2013) and its sequel The Every (2021). Eggers founded McSweeney’s, an independent publishing house, that is responsible for publishing the literary journal Timothy McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern.
