thing.descriptionSir Arthur Charles Clarke (1917-2008) was an English science and science fiction writer, inventor and television series host. He was also a fellow of the British Interplanetary Society. His contribution for science and its popularisation earned him the moniker “Prophet of the Space Age” and, in 1961, the UNESCO award Kalinga Prize.
